Investments

The money you save in your retirement account is invested and the aim is to make the money you have saved grow, so you have more to use as an income in retirement. In this section of the website you can find out more about investing and the options available in the Plan.

Where am I invested?

When you first join the Plan, your retirement account is automatically invested in the LifePath retirement option.

You may have switched your investment options - you can find out your latest investment options in your annual Benefit Statement.

Where should I invest?

The investment option you choose will depend on a number of things including your age, attitude to risk and how involved you want to get. Find out more in the Choosing your investments page.

What investment options are there?

Whether you want to get more involved in investing, or take a back seat, there are lots of investment options for you to choose from. These are generally split into two areas:

  • LifePath (there are three LifePath options: cash (current default option), retirement and drawdown)
  • Self Select

Each investment option has a detailed factsheet where you can find out how the fund has performed.
